In this video, I’ll show an overview of the 10x10 holding lines in my railyard. Hopefully, this gives you an idea of how I built it, and how you could use something like this in your world. 0:00 Start 0:48 Incoming tracks 1:46 All incoming and outgoing tracks 17:16 Holding lines overview 18:50 Unloading docks 20:45 Close-up views 22:35 Departure point IN SHORT/how I built this: -10x rail lines side by side, each with ten holding tracks. Everything uses Block Signals, except at the beginning where the lines split into the ten tracks — and the very last signal of each holding line is a Path Signal. -Keep the tracks coming from the left, middle, and right sides of the map separated, and distribute the trains evenly across unloading docks 1 through 5 — that way, they can’t all choose the same shortest route. -After the stations, you can merge all five tracks into one using path signals — this way, you can control the departure frequency of the trains. That’s basically how this entire holding yard is set up. A small tip for anyone who wants to build something similar: leave more space at the beginning so you can distribute trains more smoothly. I didn’t do that, and it makes preventing traffic jams a lot more difficult. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask — I’ll be happy to help. #Satisfactory #SatisfactoryGame #SatisfactoryTrains #SatisfactoryRailyard #FactoryGame #TrainNetwork #CoffeeStainStudios #SatisfactoryTips #SatisfactoryBase
