The 2025 Honda Africa Twin ES is that “almost perfect” adventure bike that still manages to push a few of my buttons… literally. In this video I ride and review the Africa Twin ES and break down what it’s actually like to live with: Size: big adventure bike energy – closer to a GS than a middleweight. It’ll do single track, but you feel every pound when the trail gets tight. Reliability: classic Honda bullet-proof feel. If I had to bet on one bike to start every day on a long trip, this would be high on the list. Price point: very strong value compared with some of the fancy Euro ADV bikes. Comfort: not a couch on the highway, not overly plush off-road – it’s kind of a Goldilocks setup in the middle. Good at a lot, perfect at nothing. Tech: the features are nice… but way too confusing.
