This Easter weekend forecast covers both Saturday and Sunday across the country. The main weather story is Tropical Low 37U in the Solomon Sea, which has a high chance of becoming a tropical cyclone by Sunday. While it is expected to remain well away from the Queensland coast, it will be closely monitored as it develops. Closer to home, a severe thunderstorm warning is in place across southern Western Australia, particularly through the Goldfields, with the risk of damaging winds and large hail. Elsewhere, much of Australia remains settled under a broad high-pressure system, bringing a classic autumn pattern with warm inland temperatures, coastal showers along the east, and largely dry conditions across the interior.
