The original Ghostbusters is one of the first films I remember seeing in theaters and remains my favorite movie of all time. Ghostbusters 2 was the first movie I remember not liking upon initial viewing in a theater and remains one of the most frustrating films that my brain won't let me just forget. But here's a crazy thought: what if Ghostbusters 2 was actually good? I'm going to try and accomplish that very thing. But not by rewriting it from the ground up, but instead approaching it like I was brought in to do a re-write of the shooting script. So things like characters, structure, villain, those can't be changed. But they can be tweaked. They can be refined. They can be fixed.
