December 2022: New 112% PB/WR in 1:30:56.84: • Donald Duck Goin' Quackers 112% PS1 Speedr... Watch Live: / ninjacocktail This run was played on Xebra, the only allowed emu in which the loads of this game are the shortest for my laptop. Xebra saves something like 1:40 minute of loads over epsxe 1.8. But I beat my previous best run with epsxe 1.8 by 2:10 minutes. I got my sub 1:34 twice in a row. The goal for this run was sub 1:33:33. I maintained a 1:33:20 pace up to World 4 Level 4 like it was my best run ever. Sadly I badly choked once again on the fast platforms tricks. Main time losses: _ World 3 Level 4: I death abused to get my 2 health points back. 5 seconds lost. _ World 4 Level 1: Bad movements and I didn't go for 3rd toy skip. 5 seconds lost. _ World 4 Level 4: I got the first platform trick, then I choked the final ascension 3 times in a row = 3 small deaths that cost 28 seconds. _ World 4 Level 4 Timer: I missed the first platform trick. 5 seconds lost. Results: More than 40 seconds remain to be saved. So sub 1:33 isn't rationally achievable. I am tired not being able to fix that choke in World 4 Level 4. It happens in every single PB I set. I get to nervous and lightheaded to focus a bit longer. I don't want to lose my mind on this category anymore. Let's call it a day...or a year, a couple of years. Well, I'm done for this game for now. It's been a great journey. I'll come back if someone beats one of my PS1 WRs. This game deserves a few more runners for some competition. Thanks for watching.
