A Black couple in Louisville, Kentucky, will receive a $75,000 settlement after being removed from their vehicle and searched by officers in 2018. Demetria Firman and Anthony Parker Sr. will get the money under one condition, neither the couple nor their attorneys can criticize the Louisville Metro Government or the police officers involved. The couple and Parker's nine-year-old son had just left their church when officers pulled them over for allegedly not using a turn signal. However, the body camera footage shows Parker did use his turn signal.
