Why the Karen Freedom Struggle Hasn’t Succeeded — Frontline Voices #RedNewsAgency #RedNews #RNA #Myanmar #News The Karen freedom struggle has now continued for more than 70 years. Why has it still not achieved its goals? What is the current situation among the Karen armed groups inside Karen State? Although the KNU plays a very important role in the current Spring Revolution, what kinds of agreements or understandings exist between it and other local Karen armed groups such as the DKBA, KNU/KNLA-PC and the BGF? Which Karen ethnic armed groups are fighting alongside the regime in recent battles? These are among the issues presented in this report. Red News Agency contacted and interviewed a veteran Karen combatant who has endured decades inside the freedom struggle and who has firsthand experience on the ground. In the program we will present the combatant’s perspective on whether the KNU fears the BGF, what the current dynamics are, and the overall status of Karen armed groups. The interview also addresses the central question of why the Karen freedom struggle has not succeeded despite more than 70 years of fighting, and what the fighters still need. Most importantly, if viewers listen to and watch the televised report now being released, they will gain a clear understanding of why the Karen freedom struggle has so far failed and what is required for it to succeed. The veteran fighter interviewed, who has been engaged in frontline combat, describes the realities faced on the ground and shares his views on reforms and changes he believes are necessary #KarenFreedomStruggle #KNU #KarenState #MyanmarNews #RedNewsAgency #SpringRevolution #KarenArmedGroups #MyanmarCivilWar
