Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Timbren Axle-Less trailer suspension kit. This suspension system provides a safe, smooth, quiet ride for your trailer. Two separate units replace your existing axle, and it is designed to fit one axle and two axle trailers that use regular tires. This kit is not recommended for triple axle applications, and it does feature a weight capacity of 3500 pounds. The progressive rate mainsprings, which are located right here, these are designed to absorb road shock and support your trailer's load. It delivers a smooth, stable ride, regardless of your load size, and compresses and becomes stiffer as your load increases, which is boosting your spring strength. Also, here at the back, we have rebound springs that act as return devices to minimized rattle, and bottoming out. Those springs create constant pressure on the arm, so the suspension is never completely relaxed. The two independent units can eliminate the need for a through axle. That really helps increase your ground clearance. It lowers your deck height for easier loading and unloading. It reduces roll during cornering, and it's designed to fit any trailer width. The built-in camber and tow end help your trailer to track straight, reducing wear on the tires. It comes equipped with the 4" drop, easy-lube spindles that accept trailer hubs.Hubs are sold separately. The 4" drop provides lower ground clearance, and the spindle like this whole area right here, this can be removed and replaced, if ever damaged or if ever needed. We're looking at a heavy duty steel construction with black powder coated finishing to resist wear and corrosion. They're easy to install and align. They bolt or weld to your trailer's frame. We do have the pre-drilled bolt holes on the unit. Mounting hardware to get them attached to the frame is not included, so that will need to be picked up separately. But, you can bolt these onto your trailer frame, or you can weld them on to your trailer frame. You'll get two suspension units without hubs. They work with Dexter 1750 pound hubs. Please note that the Timbren Axle-Less suspension system may require additional support on your trailer. So, if your trailer does not have a cross-member above the spot where you want to install the Timbren system, then you may need to reinforce your trailer frame. You can accomplish that three different ways. First, you can actually retrofit the trailer with a cross-member. Second, you can build out the trailer frame, or third, you can use 2" x 2" steel tubing to connect the two Timbren suspensions together, using the built-in holes on each unit. That's going to do it for today's look at the Timbren Axle-Less trailer suspension.
