Fitting a Lifan 125 to a CT110 aka Postie, seems to cause a lot of people problems, including me too. Once you understand what is causing the problem, it makes easier to understand Here is what is going on. The Lifan125 is 30mm smaller than the Honda, so anything you bolt under will sit 30mm higher, where it's not supposed to be. Also, the POS brackets that comes with the over priced mounting plate is the cause of the problem. It was never made for the Honda CT110, it was made as a "One fits all", but have no place on the CT110, Posite Bike. It leave the motor in the wrong angle. The motor needs to be tilted up a bit, if you jack the front up a bit, you will find a sweet spot where the foot peg will slide in, without causing problems for the brake pedal, this is where the motor needs to be. However, the foot peg will sit about 30 mm higher. I made my own plate plus bracket, cost only a few dollars compared to A$50. However, if you lower the mounting plate be 30mm, the difference between the Honda and the Lifan, everything fits, all you have to do it to drill two 10mm holes in the bash plate. I put together some of the pictures I took over a 8mth time. Hope it will help you to understand what your up against.
