Florence Guild Sydney Event – 21st January 2016 -- Tarsha Finney is an architectural urbanist, curator and educator. She is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney and has a visiting position at the Royal College of Art, London. She is known for her research into urban transformation and domesticity with specific knowledge of the housing and cities of Beijing, Berlin, Sydney, New York and London, in addition to work with the cultural and creative industries in remote and regional Australia. Tarsha has been an invited critic at the Architectural Association, London; The Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London and as part of the Dual Innovation Design Engineering Graduate Program between the Royal College of Art and Imperial College. She regularly contributes to Architecture Australia, Monument, ABC Radio and the Sydney Morning Herald on issues of urban change and the role of housing in city transformation.
