For 13 years, my story was marked by singleness, waiting, and trusting God even when it felt quiet, confusing, or costly. In this video, we’re finally sharing the background of how our story began and what was happening before we ever started dating. I open up about my waiting season, how the last man I tried to date was actually a counterfeit, and how that ending was one of the clearest signs that God was up to something new. I also share about the intense spiritual warfare that came right before everything shifted. Nate shares his side of singleness too. How God asked him to lay down his own desires, what it meant to obey God when the call didn’t come with clarity or comfort, and the challenges that came with believing God was telling him I was his wife.
