However, I asked everyone I could find to know what it's like to drive there if there was anything I needed to know and how to overcome my fear of driving for the first time on the LEFT SIDE. What driving license do you need to drive in Cyprus? If you're from Europe, you can use that. If you're from outside Europe, you need an international driving permit. And you need to be over 21 to be able to rent a car in Cyprus. I made this video for anyone looking to get a feel for and a sense of what it's like to drive in Cyprus for the first time. I also encouraged you to book that road trip around the island. It's worth it!
