An hour of music to relax, meditate or study, with a taste of ancient Egypt. Nefertiti was an Egyptian queen of the 18th Dynasty (c. 1370 BC–c. 1331 BC), the principal wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten. Her name means "The Beautiful One Has Arrived," and she is famous for her bust, one of the most iconic works of art of ancient Egypt. Nefertiti played an important role during the reign of Akhenaten, who led a religious revolution centered on the god Aten. To create the music for this video, I took some of the surviving Egyptian poetry from the second millennium BC and, based on it, created similar poems as a tribute to Nefertiti. I used various AIs to translate ancient Egyptian poetry into its approximate pronunciation so I could sing it in something that could be similar to that now-extinct language. There's no linguistic rigor involved, just the desire to create music as a tribute to the great Queen Nefertiti. I've combined ancient instruments like the straight flute (Ney/Uffata), the double shawm (Zummarah), the harp, and others, fusing them with modern instruments like synthesizers. My goal isn't to achieve historical accuracy; it's simply to enjoy it. ----- Una hora de música para relajarse, meditar o estudiar, con un toque del antiguo Egipto.
