Plaid Song sing four Jacobite songs with the stories behind the songs, in this series of 'Dew among the Heather'. The Jacobite songs they sing are:- 1. 'Over the Sea to Skye', the Outlander theme song. 2. 'Braes of Killiecrankie'. 3. 'Bonnie Dundee' 4. 'Ye Jacobites by name' which was originally handed out at the time of the 1746 Battle of Falkirk as an anti-Jacobie song. It was rewritten by Robert Burns fourty six years later in 1791. Plaid Song are a Perth based group who specialise in historical research interests with traditional, original singing/songwriting.
