Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint features four playable specializations — Assault, Sharpshooter, Panther, and Engineer — each designed for different combat styles. The game introduces several survival-focused systems including injury mechanics, stamina and terrain impact, bivouac preparation, buddy carry, prone camouflage, and 4-player raid missions. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is an online tactical shooter developed by Ubisoft Paris and published by Ubisoft. It launched globally on October 4, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and arrived later in November 2019 for Google Stadia. It is the eleventh main entry in the Ghost Recon series and continues the narrative that began in Ghost Recon Wildlands (2017). The story unfolds in a massive open-world environment called Auroa, a fictional island located in the Pacific Ocean. Players step into the role of Lieutenant Anthony “Nomad” Perryman, an elite special forces operator dispatched to investigate suspicious activity connected to Skell Technology, a powerful military tech corporation headquartered on the island. During Operation Greenstone, multiple Ghost units are ambushed by autonomous drone swarms, leaving only Nomad, Holt, Vasily, Fixit, and Fury alive — with Holt critically wounded. Nomad soon discovers that the island has been seized by Cole D. Walker, a former Ghost who has gone rogue and now leads the Wolves, a highly trained faction of ex-Ghost operatives. Controlling Auroa’s drone production and security forces, the Wolves dominate the entire island.
