GO BRONCOS: Western Michigan University welcomes back students for the '25-'26 school year

Thousands of students are moving back into the dorms at Western Michigan University (WMU) this week, marking the start of a new school year filled with change and opportunity. Big updates are underway on campus as well. Construction has started on Golden Oaks Residence Hall, a new dorm expected to open in August 2026, adding 1,000 more beds.
