The satisfaction level was incredibly high. Just strolling through the serene countryside was so healing. Accommodation Myeoncheon Stay This place was discovered and booked by my sister. The price for one night (on weekends) was 285,000 KRW, with an additional charge of 80,000 KRW for extra guests, totaling 365,000 KRW. To cut to the chase, we were completely satisfied!!! If you visit Myeoncheon, make sure to check out this place. It's a spacious place that a single group uses, making it very comfortable. There's hardly anything around except for the owner's house, so you won't be bothered by noise. There are three rooms and one bathroom. The second floor has stairs but is not usable. You can use the sauna (we didn't apply for it separately). Restaurants Gilmok I found this place while searching on a blog. I didn't even know what 'ggeomokji' was, so it was a pleasant discovery. It had a rich and delightful taste. They say it's a local specialty of Dangjin, so be sure to try it when you're in Dangjin. The kids were a bit hesitant to eat it, but the bossam (steamed pork belly) that comes with the set menu was delicious, and the side dishes were well-prepared, so the kids enjoyed it too. Ace Restaurant This place is famous for its delicious mung bean noodles. Mung bean noodles are unique and somewhat unfamiliar, so I focused on savoring them even more since I thought it's a dish you can only find in Myeoncheon. While eating, I found myself saying, "Hmm, hmm," and before I knew it, it was all gone. Combining the savory mung bean soup with yeolmu kimchi (young radish kimchi) created a surprisingly good combination. While editing the video, I realized that I've come to like mung bean noodles now. Watching the video, I was reminded of the taste, and I wanted to have a bowl of refreshing mung bean noodles again. When it's summer, people from Dangjin come to Myeoncheon to eat mung bean noodles. So, during the summer, it's usually crowded, and you might have to wait. However, when we visited in the fall, we could enjoy our meal comfortably. This restaurant only serves mung bean noodles, but they say they start serving knife-cut noodles in November, and I hear those are delicious too. So, if you visit Myeoncheon in the winter, make sure to try them out.
