Maid of Sker VR has potential, and there's a solid horror story here for those who want it, but it feels dated in all the wrong ways. Here’s my honest first impressions after jumping in. Maid of Sker is one of the very first games I ever played on my channel back in 2020, so jumping in to Maid in Sker VR 6 years later feels oddly nostalgic for me and I have a lot of love for the core game. However the VR implementation leaves a lot to be desired; flat cut scenes, minimal interactions, date visuals, static environments and being constantly plunged into a black abyss for any dialogue sections leaves this new VR game feeling more like a basic UEVR mod than a premium VR experience.
