In this video we create a Polymer Clay Fairy House from start to finish! If you have ever wanted to make your own fairy house, tooth fairy jar or garden miniature, then this is a great entry point into sculpting your piece using polymer clay. We also give recommendations on how you can use air dry clay for the same project and give many tips and tricks on how to get the best results when building your fairy house. Many of the skills demonstrated in the video can also be used to model mushrooms and toadstools with Polymer Clay, as we create a Mushroom Fairy Cottage with semi realistic details. Polymer Clay cutters can be used for sections of the cottage or can be completely hand sculpted! The tutorial uses the following items: Small jar or oven proof form Polymer Clay (We used Sculpey Premo, Sculpey Souffle and Cernit) Sculpey Oven Bake Clay Adhesive Prismacolor NuPastels Craft Knife Tissue Blade Roller Door, Window and Circle Decor Cutters (Optional) Brushes Silicone sculpting tool Modelling Tools Ball Tool Texture mat (optional) Caviar Bead (optional door knob) Oven proof dish or alfoil (mushroom cap form) Baking paper or cornflour (release agent) All of the above products (excluding the jar, form and release agent) can be found on our website - www.myclayco.com.au If you have any questions about our video, or the making process, we'd love to help - just comment below :) We’d love for you to like, share and subscribe for more fun and instructional videos!
