This ride happened last year, on a quiet desert morning in Jodhpur. Before the city was fully awake, I packed up and left my hostel early, rolling the motorcycle out into empty streets and cool air. There was no noise, no rush—just that familiar feeling you get at the start of a long journey, when everything ahead is still unknown. This video captures the initial part of my solo motorcycle ride from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer. As the sun slowly rises, the roads open up, traffic is minimal, and the desert begins to reveal itself mile by mile. Leaving the Blue City behind, I head west towards the heart of Rajasthan, riding through long stretches of highway, small settlements, and wide open landscapes that make solo motorcycling so special. This isn’t about speed or destinations—it’s about beginnings. The calm of an early morning departure, the silence before the heat of the day, and the simple joy of traveling alone on a motorcycle across Rajasthan’s desert roads.
