OC&TL Erie Limited cab ride from Corry PA to Meadville PA aboard NY&LE (Alco S2 #85). Date 10-11-98.

For a brief time the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad operated the ex Erie Lackawanna line from Corry to Meadville Pennsylvania before this line was leased by the WNY&P railroad from the Norfolk Southern. A few passenger excursion trains ran from Corry to Meadville and was named the Erie Limited by the Railroad. We boarded the cab of the Erie Limited at Corry and recorded a memorable ride to Meadville Pennsylvania across the line that was once owned by the Erie Railroad and later the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. The Erie Limited Excursion Train is now a part of history that most likely will never be repeated. (Side note a run around move took place west of Cambridge Springs and a few more cars were added to the train, also the train was pushed west ahead of the locomotive to Meadville).
