This is a full showcase of every possible survivor that can become a zombie, with the infamous "Death Scene" from the original DR, if killed properly. I know this list came 10 years late, but now I finally had a chance to test it out on all survivors. Basically, to trigger the death scene, you need to bring the survivors to the spot just outside of the sports shop in Royal Flush Plaza, and then let them get kill by a zombie. After the cutscene, a zombified survivor will spawn. More details below. Here is a list of all the survivors that will get zombified if they get killed by zombies at the specific spot: -Denyce Calloway -LaShawndra Dawkins -Doris Elchart -Kenneth Waish -Brittany Beck -John Boog -Vikki Taylor -Elrod Bumpkins -Jasper Sanford -Terri Glass -Floyd Stone -Linette Watkins -Danni Bodine -Luz Palmer -Richard Kelly -Summer Chavez -Nina Suhr -Ray Teller -Andy Talbat -Walter Morris -Royce St.John -Lillian Payne -Camille Payne All the other survivors didn't turn during my test run, although some factors which affect whether a death scene can be triggered are not accounted for. If you find out there are even more possible zombified survivors, let me know. Btw I didn't count Jared and Katy since they don't have the same death scene. Here are some other details from my testing: 1. The survivor has to lose the majority of his/her health from getting hit by zombies at the spot, otherwise the scene won't get triggered. So make sure you don't hit the survivors or just fill up their health beforehand. 2. The death scene won't get triggered if the survivor gets a death blow by other survivors' punching by accident. You may consider separating them or even bringing some of the irrelevant survivors to the Safe House first if you have a group. 3. This for some reason doesn't work in Co-op mode. 4. A defected survivor can't turn into a zombie. Separate the survivor group if needed. See 17:59. With enough distance, survivors won't defect even if you kill their friends/partners/families. Also a survivor who is not in your group can't become a zombie as well. That's why I had to re-recruit the girls at 13:29. 5. You have to stay very close to the survivor for the scene to be triggered. Be sure to command them properly. 6. It doesn't matter if the survivor wields a weapon or not. However, there was one occasion where the scene didn't get triggered for me with the survivor dying while shooting. It also doesn't matter if you hold the leadership magazine. 7. Some of the survivors(Cora Russel, Summer Chavez, Nina Suhr) are strong fighters. If you don't equip them with other weapons, they will eradicate the zombies in no time. Handbags are a perfect choice since they barely do damages. See 12:27. 8. For some reason the death scene won't get triggered if you are reading your watch while the survivor is dying. Also don't pause for too long during the process. It might hinder the possibility of triggering the death scene as well. 9. LaShawndra Dawkins, Nina Suhr, and Andy Talbat have unique voice lines while dealing with zombies compared to other survivors. (Jeanna Slick and Bibi Love as well, but they are not in the zombified category) 10. Denyce Calloway and Luz Palmer have double the health compared to normal survivors. 11. Sometimes after the death scene, the zombified survivor will not appear for no reason. See 12:10 and 13:25. 12. Much to our disappointment, the death scenes are very limited and not graphic, unlike DR1. Females have two confirmed different animations and males have four confirmed. The same animation with different survivors shares the same voice lines. However, there is an ultra-rare death scene for males that I only got once out of my dozens of testing, the glorious 69 fun time with a zombie. See 8:53. Poor Floyd. 13. On my playthrough I only managed to get three versions of male and two versions of female, but another YouTube user Kael Martin found a fourth one for male.
