Brian Cole was the bass player for The Association from 1965 until his tragic death on August 2, 1972. While Brian was not as prolific a songwriter as some of his other bandmates, he was the glue that held The Association together on stage. Brian's legacy lives on. Not only in the music of The Association, but also through his children. Brian's son Jordan is a current member of The Association. "Little Road and a Stone to Roll" is a song written by the acclaimed John Stewart, and appeared on his November 1971 release, "Lonesome Picker Rides Again." The Association covered Stewart's song on their April 1972 album, "Waterbeds in Trinidad!" With Brian singing lead, "Little Road and a Stone to Roll" ends the album. Special thanks to John P. Andolina, Jr. for allowing me to use his pictures in this video. Without John, this video would not be possible.
