Our journey to Manang took us deep into the heart of the Himalaya. Leaving Kathmandu, the road slowly transformed — from busy city streets to rough mountain tracks, following rivers and passing small villages along the way. As we climbed higher, the landscape changed dramatically. Green valleys gave way to dry, rugged terrain, and the air grew thinner. Along the route, we experienced daily life in remote settlements, witnessed the effects of recent floods on roads and villages, and saw how people adapt to life in the mountains. Reaching Manang felt like arriving in another world — quiet, vast, and surrounded by towering peaks. This journey was more than just travel; it was a transition from lowland to high mountain, from movement to stillness, and from modern life to a slower, more resilient way of living.
