You may have seen this control on your reverb plugin before called Pre-Delay. Why would there be a delay control on a reverb? If I wanted delay, I would have gone with a delay plugin! Pre-Delay alters the timings between the source and reverb sounds creating new layers and depth in a mix! There's even some reverbs that have negative pre-delay values, but how can that be possible?
