Times Square Mall, also known as Gyeongbang Times Square, is a major shopping and entertainment complex located in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Jointly owned and managed by Shinsegae, this vast mall opened on September 16, 2009, and is often referred to as "Yeongdeungpo Times Square" due to its location. It offers a comprehensive "malling" experience, combining shopping, dining, and leisure activities in one place. The mall covers a substantial area, with 370,000 square meters in total and 302,000 square meters dedicated to shopping. While it was once the largest complex shopping mall in Korea, it still retains its title as the largest shopping complex in Seoul. Thanks to its proximity to Yeongdeungpo Station, a key transportation hub, it's easily accessible for Seoul residents. Times Square Mall boasts a variety of facilities, including Shinsegae Department Store Times Square Branch, Kyobo Bookstore, CGV Yeongdeungpo, E-Mart Yeongdeungpo Branch, a Marriott Hotel, and an office building. CGV Yeongdeungpo is known for having the world's largest screen size. The mall frequently hosts cultural performances and special events in its atrium, making it a space for not just shopping but also cultural interaction and entertainment. The mall offers a wide range of dining options, though some are considered on the expensive side. Fast food choices like Nolboo Budae Jjigae and Jiro Ramen are more budget-friendly.
