Something like 220 films went up in flames. You can read about it here: https://www.editorialedomani.it/fatti... Also, I want to clarify some things in this video. Negatives are the most important pieces for people who wish to restore films. Prints can keep the films alive but at lesser quality. I know some people in the industry who only wish to work with negatives. Even so, there are some issues with film restorations. Colors can be wrong, scenes may be edited, etc. There's a good article on that here: https://filmmakermagazine.com/117844-... ALSO, some of my friends who are "in-the-know" CLAIM that they've seen 35mm copies of films that are thought to be lost at various labs around LA. I didn't put this in the video because I couldn't verify this myself, but I thought it was worth a mention here.
