This is from one of the last nice days in Yellowstone this fall. We spent a lot of time looking for Raspberry and her cub to no avail. Snow and her younger sister, Jam, were out quite a bit. On this afternoon Snow kept testing how close she could get to the road before a ranger yelled at her. Then she dutifully moved away from the road, half hiding behind this log. She spent her time napping and sulking while carefully watching the ranger. When he left to see what Jam was up to, Snow was almost immediately testing her limits again....
