We started our visit right at the entrance of the Chocolate Museum, a place full of curiosities about the world of chocolate. There are many options to enjoy, from tasting a great coffee or hot chocolate to savoring a delicious chocolate cake. Before starting the tour, you can choose between taking the elevator or daring yourself on the slide. Of course, we chose the harder way 😅 — let’s face this adventure! Right at the beginning, surprisingly, I took a ridiculous fall, but we had a lot of fun sliding down… oh, how embarrassing! 😅 Next, we watched a video presentation about the fascinating history of cacao and chocolate and learned some incredible facts. Then we continued exploring the museum, discovering old equipment such as the mortar and pestle used to process cacao. Very interesting! And of course, the best part couldn’t be missing: the tastings! We tried dark chocolate, with an intense cacao flavor — bitter or slightly sweet, sometimes reminiscent of coffee, earth, dried fruits, or wood. 🤍 White chocolate: very sweet and creamy, reminding us of milk, vanilla, and butter. ❤️ Red (ruby) chocolate: fruity and slightly acidic; neither bitter nor overly sweet. Its color comes from a special cacao processing method, not from food coloring. After that, we took another tour with even more tastings, discovering new flavors and surprising combinations, such as chocolate flavored with garlic or chili. In the end, we left delighted with everything we learned and tasted. A sweet, fun, and educational experience from start to finish — connecting family, friends, and everyone through the sweetness of chocolate.
