April 10th 2025 Long Island Metro Fishing Report with Matthew Broderick

Togging is beginning to pick up steam around the island. On the South Shore some of the headboats are seeing more productivity on wreck trips with mixed cod while up on the North Shore, a whopping 12-pounder came over the gunnel last week for a lucky angler! Some other scattered reports of tog in the 25 to 60-foot range also were reported from the Sound. Stripers are moving east on the island with fish to 33 inches making their way to the Northport area this week. The South Shore creeks are still seeing the resident schoolie bass still prowling these creeks.
