You can visit my old blog and explore the archives here: www.doodlesanddoggerel.com I'll also be posting these videos (if they're short enough) on Twitter at   / tom_foltz_art   Now, on with the poetry! ========================================================== Doodles and Doggerel by Tom Foltz Welcome new friends, welcome back friends of old As I restart a project I left in the cold With a new A/V twist that’s both daring and bold And I’m calling it Doodles and Doggerel It began with a blog where I’d post every day An original poem or a drawing I made But blogs are apparently now quite passé So I gave up on Doodles and Doggerel But I missed having fun with my rhythms and hues So now I’ve returned, seeking video views And Twitter and YouTube are what I will use To distribute my Doodles and Doggerel Each post will contain a new picture to see Accompanied by some inane poetry Narrated with great skill and gusto by me The creator of Doodles and Doggerel And I can’t promise poetry sweet or sublime Or drawings transcendent of space or of time And some might say calling it art is a crime Which is why it’s just Doodles and Doggerel And though this whole concept’s a little offbeat Now that my first poem here is nearly complete I hope that you’ll like or subscribe or retweet To get lots of new Doodles and Doggerel
