#delhipolice #dwarka #dwarkadistrictpolice #aats #psbindapur On 14/08/2022, information regarding cheating was reported at Police Station Bindapur, wherein the complainant stated that two unknown boys cheated her by showing fake Gaddi and took her gold jewelry. As per her statement a case vide FIR No. 602/22 U/s 420/34 IPC was registered at PS Bindapur and investigation was taken up. Keeping in the view the sensitivity of the case, a dedicated team of police officials of AATS, Dwarka District, comprising Inspector Vikash Yadav, Sub Inspector Dinesh Kumar, ASI Topesh, HC Inder, HC Manish, HC Rajesh, and HC Manoj under the supervision of Insp. Kamlesh Kumar, I/C AATS Dwarka and overall supervision of Sh. Ram Avtar, ACP/Ops Dwarka was formed to trace and arrest the accused persons. During investigation, CCTV footage's of the spot of the incident and surrounding areas were analyzed by the team. Secret informers were roped in the area to collect information about suspects. On 20/08/22, secret information was received by the team regarding the accused persons who are involved in the present case. On the basis of technical and manual surveillance, a trap was laid down by the team and a raid was conducted and two accused persons namely Praveen and Shivender were apprehended with motorcycle being used in the commission of crime. On sustained interrogation, both accused persons confessed about their involvement in the case. During their search one fake gaddi was also recovered from their possession.
