This classic song came out in 2001 and it is a fun and bouncy reggae style tune with just three chords and one chord progression. If you know how to play the reggae strum and you know how the syncopation works you will get this song really quick. I saw Manu Chau play live once in 2011 and in Medellín and I have wanted to teach a song on this channel for awhile thinking about that song. Manu Chau sings in multiple languages, Spanish, French, English, Portuguese and even Arabic. I speak Spanish and English, but not French, and it is really apparent when I am trying to read the lyrics in the chorus haha.
