The kids come rushing over to the unicorn rug after cleaning up from snack, and once everyone is seated, it’s time to start. Lovey the Doll Mommy and Freddy the Doll Daddy introduce themselves as the teachers, and then it’s time to draw a name from the rainbow cup to find out who the Song Starter will be. My Sweet Love Doll Daisy is picked, so she comes up to sing the Turtle Time intro song. Then it’s time to pick a name to be the Class Welcomer. Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Doll Iradessa is picked, so she comes up to give a mini speech to welcome the class. She talks about how she wants to be the class astronaut because she wants to be an astronaut when she grows up, as is pretty clear by her space suit she is wearing. Once she finishes her mini speech, it’s time to pick a Turtle Time Helper. Baby Born Blue’s name is drawn from the cup, so he comes up to hold the learning chart. Freddy brings out the new learning chart, which is a dry erase board with dinosaurs on the border. Reborn Doll Rosie is very excited about the dinosaurs. Before going over the learning chart, Freddy gives Reborn Doll River a Braille booklet so that he can follow along since he can’t see the learning chart very well because he is blind. So is Blue, and normally he gets a booklet too, but since he’s holding the learning chart, it’s a lot easier for him to follow along. Lovey introduces the Stuff of the Day, starting with the letter of the day. Today, it’s B. She feels for the raised lines on the board so that she can point to the capital B. She has to feel for it because she is blind. So is Freddy, and he feels for the raised line underneath the lowercase B to point to it. Lovey points to the Braille B and shows how it’s made of dots 1 and 2 in the Braille cell. Freddy announces the word of the day, which is Bubbles. He points to the letters as he spells it. Blue is very excited because he loves bubbles. Then Lovey points to the number of the day, which is 3. Freddy points out that there are 3 bubbles on the board before pointing out the Braille 3. The first Braille cell is the number sign, dots 3, 4, 5, and 6. The second Braille cell is a 3, dots 1 and 4. Freddy and Blue talk about how when there is no number sign, the 3 is actually a C, and everyone agrees on how confusing that is. Next, Lovey points to the bubbles while Blue counts them. Then Freddy points out the color of the day, which is blue, so they colored the bubbles blue. Blue thinks this learning chart is perfect for him, and Freddy and Lovey think it’s funny because they didn’t plan for Blue to be the Turtle Time Helper on purpose. After Blue goes back to his seat, it’s time to pick a Weather Checker. Reborn Doll River is picked, so Lovey takes him outside to see what the weather is like. It’s cloudy, a bit breezy, and not cold, but cool. River is excited to give his report. Since Daisy is the Song Starter, she sings the weather song before River gives his report. Then River shares what he discovered outside. He thinks it’s the perfect temperature for playing on the jungle gym. Once he finishes, Turtle Time is almost over. It’s time for the Song Starter to sing the days of the week, so Daisy comes up to sing them. Then it’s time for the closing Turtle time song. Everyone seems to be having a blast in this fun learning video for kids. Doll Tip of the Day: If you like playing school with your dolls, you can make the school however you’d like it to be. It doesn’t have to be just like your school. You could imagine how the perfect school would be for you, and you can pretend your dolls go to that school. It could even be a school where the dolls learn how to use special powers. That’s the beauty of pretend. It can be whatever you imagine.
