Maybe you are an engineer considering a shift to medical research, unsure how such transition would work? Follow Milena Deptuła and her innovative project on developing personalised 3D-printed wound dressings, consisting of both scaffolds and anti-bacterial substances supporting tissue regeneration. This interdisciplinary endeavour, encompassing molecular biology, biotechnology, chemistry, peptide chemistry and contemporary 3D-printing techniques – is a result of a successful cooperation with another leading Polish academic centre – Gdańsk University of Technology.
