Candy Cane Nail On Hayley

Hi guys Welcome to the Adam and Kirsty Meakin Show and it’s Christmas time with Mistletoe, Wine, Beer and Mulled Wine so we’re going to do a Christmas Design that Tony’s Nails did on Instagram and I thought I’d figure it out. I’m going to start with cuticle prep and I’m using my e-file and my cuticle bit for this and I’ll use my proximal fold bit too. I’m then going to pop my tips on and apply my primer. I’m going to go down the centre with my white acrylic and do just one stripe and let that set up. I’m going to base coat my other nails and then apply one coat of Maddie and one coat of Dorothy’s Slippers. I’ll then top coat those nails to protect them from the dust. Once the middle nail is set, I’m going to file the white section and add red to either side. Let that set again and do another layer of acrylic, this time red in the middle and white on the outside. I’m going to use a pointy bit on my efile and file my candy cane style lines into the nail. I’ll finish it off with clear acrylic to fill the gaps and then file as normal.
