The resort’s charming village of cedar chalets and Luxury Signature Cabins, all connected by picturesque paths, allow guests to explore the natural environment of the hotel within the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies.The Jasper Park Lodge is a 442 room hotel situated, the hotel was established in 1921 by Canadian National Railway and is one of Canada's grand railway hotels. King George VI and Queen Elizabeth stayed in Jasper during a tour intended to gin up Canadian support for the looming Second World War. That particular cabin burned to the ground in 2000, although it was quickly rebuilt based on the original architectural drawings. The Jasper Park Lodge hotel is not like most of their properties. It is a large lodge set in parkland and cabins around it. The main building is a bar restaurant, conference facilities, ballrooms, fitness and pool facilities. It has a lovely comfortable feel to it. The cabins and lodges are set around it like a small village. The parkland is full of wildlife including Canada Geese and Elk and other deer wandering around the place.
