Subtitles: The 1st hack is to Take neat and efficient notes. This is an amazing study method that works so so well for many people including myself. Basically just take notes for the information you are studying, making sure it’s concise. Writing your notes neatly can actually be so so motivating and will therefore increase efficiency in your studies. The 2nd hack is to Read through your notes after school. This is so so effective when it comes to studying and memorising things. All you have to do is before you go to bed, read through the notes you took that day. Reading through your week’s notes at the end of the week is also extremely beneficial for your memory as the repetition will allow you to memorise is better. The 3rd hack is to Do your homework immediately after you get it. This is actually so so important but basically just do your homework the day you get it so that you will be able to stay organised for that subject AND doing it straight after will mean you know the content well to do your homework properly. The 4th hack is to Participate in class. Try to participate as much as you can during class. This can be to answer questions or to even ask questions. Doing this will help you understand the concept much better and will help you memorise the content easier. The 5th hack is to Pay attention in class. So this is pretty obvious but always always try to pay as much attention as you can in class so you can really grasp the information. I have a whole video on how to pay attention in class and get better grades so I’ll leave the link up in the cards. The 6th hack is to Prepare for your classes. This is so so useful as doing this will help you pay better attention in class and will help you understand the concept much much better. There are many different ways to prepare for classes so I’ll leave the link to my video on how to prepare for classes up in the cards. The 7th hack is to Break down the subject into smaller pieces. This is especially useful when preparing for your classes as you can really understand what to learn. Basically all you do is think about all the components you are learning in that subject and break it down bit by bit. Tackling the subject in smaller pieces makes it much easier than tackling the whole subject. The 8th hack is to Plan what to learn. So this ties in the previous one but basically once you break the subject down into smaller pieces plan out when and how to learn. Doing this will help you stay on track and organised and will make it much easier to approach and master the subject. The 9th hack is to Use a study method that works for you. This is just so so important and is crucial if you want to master this subject. There are many different learning methods and learning styles depending on what type of learner you are so you will definitely find one that works for you. I have a full video on this so I’ll leave the link up in the cards. The 10th hack is to Teach someone. This is a very effective and fun way to learn a subject and it is even better and more helpful when it comes to mastering a new subject. Just find someone, maybe a family member or friend or a classmate and try to explain everything in to do with the topic. This will ensure you really understand the concept instead of just knowing it. The 11th hack is to Use the pomodoro technique. The pomodoro technique is basically 25 minutes study, 5 minutes rest, repeat that 4 times and then a 15 to 30 minute break. So basically this allows you to study without being distracted and makes it much easier to concentrate on your studies as you will have a set time to study and a set time to have a break. The 12th hack is to Use spaced repetition. Spaced repetition is an effective memorisation method when you want to remember formulas, definitions and things like that. Basically spaced repetition is just repeating the information multiple times in strategized spaced out times. The 13th hack is to Give yourself rewards. The 14th hack is to Set goals. The 15th hack is to Read books or other materials on that subject/topic. The 16th hack is to Watch educational videos.
