Ryan Gaynier's park and street footage, from young to old. Watch him grow into the talented skateboarder everyone always seemed to know him as. Though I feel like none will compare to what it was like to witness his talent in person. Didn't put all of his footage, or this would be too long. But what he was proud of and happy with I tried to put in, anything else he wouldve probably been pissed haha. Almost all the songs were picked by him in a way, or were thrown together on his computer in various different montages so I tried to choose what he would like. Rest In Peace Ryan, we all miss you. Roll Forever. 11/25/90-6/17/12... Part 1: Ryan's Park footage from young to old. Part 2: Ryan's street footage from Ohio and Michigan. Part 3-4: Ryan's Arizona footage and some recent Michigan footage. Part 5: Ryan's part from Robert Sorich's ScumLife Vol. 1. Ryan Gaynier was a very talented skateboarder from Toledo, Ohio where he rode for Just Skateboards. Then rode for Refuge Skateboard Shop after moving to Trenton, Michigan, and filming for his part in the DownrverSkateboardMediaVideo. (Most footage was filmed from here on out.) After high school moved to Phoenix, Arizona to live what was formally known as The ScumLife. Then back to Michigan again. On June 17th, 2012 at about 3 a.m. Ryan, who was speeding, was hit by a drunk driver who blew a .16, and was killed. Ryan paid for his speed with his life, and the drunk driver was only given a sentence of 16 months probation and $1500 in fines. Ryan's casket was made into a skateboard (griptape, wheels and all) and he was Buried on National Go Skateboarding Day (June 21st, 2012) wearing a shirt that said "Life Ruined My Skateboarding." He was rolled to his grave and let down as it started to rain. A wreath was being pulled away from the grave with 2 ribbons that said "Big Brother" and "Best Son" The word Best peeled of the ribbon of the wreath, floated through the wind, and down into the grave landing on top of his casket sticking to the grip tape in silver lettering, BEST. Afterwords, Emerica Shoes dedicated Wild in the Streets 2012 in Detroit to him raising money for his family, and Real Skateboards made a pro model board with his name on it saying "Ryan Gaynier Roll Forever." Which is just about all he could've ever wanted in his life, and what he worked so hard to film all of this for. A big thanks to Real and Refuge Skateboard Shop for that. He was a very inspirational person, and impacted many lives. I feel that this video gives a image of who he was, and you get to watch him growing up skating. I hope you all enjoy. We all miss him more than words can describe. But his legacy will now live on through skateboarding. ScumLife to the NextLife. Roll Forever Ryan Gaynier... All was filmed by: Robert Sorich, Zachary Olds, Jeremy Cooper, Brian Gibson, Nick Balogh, Adam Shomsky, Ethan Bachwich, Wade Vickers, Steve Staffan and Kyle Eby. Edited by: Zachary Olds.
