Sorry I’ve stepped away from the stage lights and into the shadows after the Portishead Legacy shows with the Late Night Orchestra. The tour was both rewarding and difficult. It truly felt so impossible for me to overcome the feat of performing and touring with an invisible disability. The magic of the crew and crowd got me through it and I was given the gift of hope and connection. I will hold onto the memories forever of the beautiful people I got to tour with, the audience I got to have vulnerable conversations with and the feeling of pouring myself out on the stage again (even with a walking stick or crawling on the floor lol). Plus, #Portishead omg 🙇🏻‍♀️ Thank you. I’m still learning how my #FND can fit into my art and music, which meant that I haven’t quite grasped how to do it all without hurting myself and going backwards. Thank you for being patient with me as I put it back together and figure out how to move forward with this new body, sustainably. 🤍
