Ackson, father of 10-year-old Manasseh, a boy with hemophilia, recalls the early days of his son’s diagnosis—when a minor mouth injury led to days of uncontrolled bleeding and a rushed trip to a hospital unequipped with factor replacement therapy. That period of uncertainty and crisis has been replaced by calm and control, thanks to the multi-pronged efforts of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH).
