From Russel Means website.....ANNA MAE AQUASH CASE On November 3, 1999, in Denver, CO, I participated in a press conference to discuss the murder of Anna Mae Aquash. Anna Mae was a loyal memeber of the American Indian Movement (AIM), a veteran of the 1973 liberation of Wounded Knee, and a defender of all Indian people. She was brutally murdered in the winter of 1975; her body was found on the frozen plains of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation on February 24, 1976. Jim Page........................... Born: Palo Alto, California Raised: San Jose, California Began playing guitar at 15. Went to New York in 1970, Seattle in '71. Changed street singing laws in '74. Went to Europe in '77, began touring and living abroad. Returned to Seattle in 1983 where he still lives. After seeing him perform at the High Sierra Music Festival in the summer of '97, Rob Bleetstein of Gavin wrote: "Jim Page is a lyrical genius with a guitar. This man personifies the word 'free-flow.'
