Storm Watching in Ucluelet on Vancouver Island - Big Waves, Kings Tides and a Smashed Boat 4K

While not as dramatic as the recent bomb cyclone storm a decent winter gale blew across Vancouver Island in mid-December 2024. As is typical with these sorts of things it's knocked down trees overnight causing power outages and road closures. We explore Big Beach, The Amphitrite Lighthouse and a few other locations including the resting place of a capsized fishing boat you may have seen in an older video. This edit was sort of rushed as the winds were building as I worked on it and I wanted to upload it before the power went out again... All storm footage was shot from safe vantage points with a telephoto lens. Please be safe when enjoying these storms.
