This PEX-b grade tubing is normally used in plumbing applications. It is a high quality and reliable tubing, though slightly less flexible than PEX-a tubing due to the manufacturing process used for its production. The PEX coils are available in red and blue, which makes it easy to color-code your hot and cold water lines. White coils are also available, but to be clear there is absolutely no difference between red, white and blue tubing other than the color itself. It comes in 3/8ths ½, ¾ and 1 inch sizes and works with crimp, clamp, compression, PEX press, and SharkBite PEX connections. ProPEX expansion connections do not work with this or any other PEX-b tubing. This tubing has a maximum temperature rating of 180 degrees F up to a pressure or 100 psi.
