Hi, everyone. I'm Evangeline here at Etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the MoonWall Short. This is gonna be a sidewall that you can attach to your MoonShade Original and just adds a little bit of shade, a little bit of extra space, and a little bit more privacy. This is gonna be seven feet long, so it's designed specifically for the seven foot side of the MoonShade Original. If you want the wall for the other sides, which are the longer sides of your MoonShade, do check out the MoonWall Long. In fact, I see a lot of people get both the shorts and the long because they want a little bit more of an enclosed space. It this attaches to the legs of your awning, so you put the grommet of the MoonWall onto the peg of that leg and then refit the leg back into the awning top. After you've secured the other side the exact same way, then there's a hook that goes right there in that strap in the middle. Then to secure it, you have this strap that also has a grommet and a guideline end. So what you can do is some people like to secure it in a more up and down position so you have a bit more of a box look. I personally like to stretch out the wall. Yes, there'll be a little bit of a gap underneath, but that's fine, and then that's where I'll stake it down. So you could either stake through the grommet, or if you want a quick and easy solution, you can set up your stakes ahead of time, (hammer banging) and then you would secure the guideline around the stake hook. Whichever way works best for you and your campsite. (hammer banging) This really is the perfect day for having our whole MoonShade set up with the MoonWall because having it out like this means we have a bit more of a breeze coming through. It's very breathable while still giving us that shade from the direct sun. But what if a quick little rainstorm kicks up That's partially the reason why people have the up and down position because then it does prevent a little bit of water from coming in. So I don't have a rainstorm, but I do have my water bottle. So let's see how that water goes down. You can see it just collects droplets. It beads up, but no water is actually coming through the fabric. A key thing here is just making sure that your sidewall is at an angle just to allow that flow. Here at etrailer, we have the awnings all kitted together with everything that you need to set the awnings themselves up. But I really recommend looking into also getting a sidewall or two or three if you really wanna expand your setup, especially since these can be folded up, rolled up, and still fit into the actual awning bag is awesome. You're not carrying a gazillion different separate bags. Now, for me personally, what I do is I have a MoonWall Short and a MoonWall Long. Sometimes I only use the MoonWall Long because that can fit both on this short side, as well as the long side of the MoonShade, while this short wall only fits on the seven foot side. So that's the key difference between those two different walls. Now, having multiples means you now have a lot of extra space, a lot of extra shade and privacy for your trips. So as you are setting up your MoonShade, definitely look into getting an additional side wall.
