California Crabbing with Homemade Fishing Snares | Lawson's Landing March 2025

California crabbing adventure with some homemade snares! Took the fam out on the weekend for a day trip to Lawson's in the off season. Wasn't expecting much: I brought in limits in November, but was skunked in January. Ended up catching a few and had a fantastic day. Steelhead season up on the American went well this year. I have a video that I've been sitting on for a while overviewing the season and is highlighted by catching one one of my best fish. Didn't have a ton of time to go out this year, but did catch two beautiful fish that I took home for the smoker, one on the fly, one on an egg pattern with a spinning rod. American River is in between seasons for now, waiting for the Stiper and Shad to come in. Will have a few videos/updates when they do! Thanks for watching, have a great day!
