DESCRIPTION OF SEQUENTIAL POLY SEQUENCER. This poly sequencer requires a prophet 5 synthesizer as conection for making your sequences or melodies. You just play on the keyboard of the Prophet Synthesizer and press stop. Then pres the same button for hearing what you did play. It will play it exactly as you played your sequence of on the synthesizer. You can even change the sound when you are recording what your are playing and the sequencer will registrate it and play the seguence with your your changes on the control knobs on the synth. You can also change the preset sound when playing and recording with the sequencer and the sequencer will play your song with the different sound presset you did select while making the recording. TRANSPOSING MELODY SEQUENCE WHILE SEQUENCER IS PLAING. You jus press the button "transpose" and then you press "play". Then you can direct/transposie the note of the playing sequence when you play notes on the keyboard. Tansposing the playing melody in any octave or any note. That´s a great flexibility, you don´t find on ohterkeyboards. CONECTING THE POLY SEQUENCER. You have to conect the poly sequencer interfase cable to the digital input of your Prophet 5 before recording. CONTAINING 6 RECORDING TRACKS. It does have 6 tracks, where you can record 6 diferent sequences/songs. But if you want to store and save your sequencer song you need a small tape for saving the data. The poly sequencer has it´s own cassette taperecorder for storing your songs/sequences on the cassette tape. RECORDING YOUR MUSIC ON THE POLY SEQUENCER. When you record a sequence plaing on your prophet, do have in mine that you have to create a 4 bars loop or a 8 bars loop. Or more, It depends on what length you want of your song loop. The way to create the decided loop is like this: When your song or sequence ends, you press quickly on the orange record button. Then it will repeat your song or short sequence in a continuing loop. You can also decide the tempo/speed of the poly sequencer adjusting it´s pot-meter. If you don´t adjust your sequence using the recording knob, then you will have for example your sequence recorded with a 8 second breake of silent or more. If you want to remove this sequence of silence you have to pres "record" quickly after your sequence has been played once. FURTHER QUESTIONS OG THIS POLY SEQUENCER.
