"Maple Leaf Rag" and "Pineapple Rag" by Scott Joplin / Performed by Matthew Walker

In this video, I play two ragtime pieces by Scott Joplin. Obviously, for those who have been watching my videos, you haven't yet seen me play the "Pineapple Rag", but you may have seen me do the "Maple Leaf Rag" already. I decided to include this clip of me playing that one as well because I wanted to demonstrate that I can play it without rushing it, as some members have commented on my previous "Maple Leaf Rag" video. That was more of a stylistic choice on my part, but for the sake of historical accuracy, as well as overall clarity from a performance standpoint, I figured it was worth showcasing another performance of the "Maple Leaf Rag" where I play it at a more appropriate speed. I hope you enjoy this alternate take on the "Maple Leaf Rag" as well as a 'new-to-you' performance of the "Pineapple Rag". Cheers!
