The left side is essentially based on Mapleshade’s canon story, while the right side can be seen as a perfect what-if. In the story on the right side, Appledusk never cheats on Mapleshade. And Mapleshade’s honesty moved Ravenwing, convincing him that the reeds prophecy symbolized peace; Both ThunderClan and RiverClan were weary from endless wars, so with the prophecy meaning peace, Oakstar and Mapleshade and Ravenwing brought the newborn kits to discuss the matter with RiverClan. The two leaders agreed that the prophecy meant they should end the fighting and remain peaceful and friendly. So Mapleshade and Appledusk were allowed to freely visit each other’s clans, and the three kits were recognized as belonging to both clans. Because of that, they were able to grow up safely. - First of all, I’m incredibly excited about this MAP! When my friends and I first saw the song and its original animation, we immediately thought of Mapleshade — so we decided to collaborate and create this MAP together. This entire MAP project is heavily inspired by the original animation, so we strongly recommend watching it a few times.
