The Alternative Freestyle Invitational was established in 2012 by Sebastian Brock during the World Yo-Yo Contest as an exclusive showcase of competitive yoyo performers who defy the conventional judging system. The 2016 Alternative Freestyles were held on August 6th in the Severance Room of the Renaissance Hotel in Cleveland, OH.
